QantaScope HexascopeHTP™ automated high throughput scanner and image analyzer is a convenient technology for chemical, natural product, siRNA library screening using cell viability or labeled cell counting.
The system measures fluorescent objects on 384-well plates by default. Software solutions for alternative plate formats (1536, 96, 48, 24) are available as custom services.
The HTP software has three different applications. The first enables the user to screen 180 different substances on a 384-well plate, in duplicates at one selected concentration. The second analysis format measures IC50 values on a 384-well plate for 15 drugs at a 24 step dilutions. The third format measures IC50 values for 5 drugs in triplicates.
The system enables the customer to use different fluorescent labeling techniques and different fluorophores. QantaScope can also offer a variety of different scanning reagent kits for robust library screening where all parameters are pre-optimized for the system.
Custom applications as well as selection of specific excitation and emission wavelengths are also available. For custom applications please contact us.
In open mode the user is requested to follow the drug deposition layout scheme in order to fit the geometry of the system read out.
The software is user friendly and the scanning is robust. Quality check is recommended every quarter or when it is necessary using the QantaScope Quality Control Bead kit - QantaBead (Product code: QS-QC-BEADS-04).
